It would be a factual entertainment program. The family would be set one challenge that they would need to complete without the use of any modern technology such as mobile phone, computer, pager, television etc. If they complete the task without turning to technology, then they will win a new piece of modern technology such as an iPod.
I cannot think of any interesting challenges that I would give the family, can anybody think of any simple and interesting challenge that could ideally be completed in the home?
yeah cool show! give them the open heart surgery challenge, but keep it tasteful make em perform it on a rabbit.

Light a fire without the usual. Cook a meal on it that does not come in a packet with instructions. Indeed, send their dinner in alive and give them a knife.

I cannot even remember what was done before modern tech, geez, easy one’s would be to sweep the house, polish the floor with old fashioned polish and then polishing it by hand or dragging one of the kids sitting on a cloth along the floor shining it.Really cannot think of anything else, all has been done before hey. Using candles when dark, using outside toilets like a long-drop etc.:)

The kids could be sent up the chimney to clean it, and Dad could go out in a loincloth with a bow and arrow to hunt wildebeest or something.
Meanwhile Mum has to clean the house with water she’s fetched in a big bucket from a river 10 miles away, and using detergent she’s made herself out of boiled down animal fat and stuff like that. Should be fun.
