I am invited to a Christmas Eve party, in loo of Christmas. The couple who are presenting the party are doing all the food and entertainment. It is being done in another persons home, who also will be there. All these people are family to me. What is appropriate to bring, and to whom should I give it?
Thank you for clarifying the host and hostess thing and the gift thing.
the couple that are doing the food is the host and hostess
the owner of the house is a host or hostess as well
you could bring a box of cookies to the givers of the party and a box
to the owner of the home

I really think you need to consider the people who are giving the affair. They have used monies and energy to make sure the guests are pleased. It is always in order to take a nice bottle of wine or brandy. Too, you might want to pick up a nice piece of crystal to garnish their home as a token of thanks for a nice evening.
