Christians say you won’t remember all your family and friends who are burning in hell if they did not accept Jesus. And you won’t worry about it in Heaven. But our very identity is defined by whom we know. So…
Without any memory of your family and friends, have you lost your self identity in Heaven?
yes. happiness in heaven is based on ignorance.

Yes because you have decided to accept you have no free will and therefore will become a robot and spend an eternity with loads of smug right wing bible thumpers who say I told you so but you won’t feel any resentment to them anymore because you will have lost your previous identity and float around in an ignorant daze, because God told you to and it’s good for his ego to be surrounded by non questioners.

"Self identity" is a form of pride, and Christians in this life are to be not prideful, but to humble themselves; therefore, identity in Heaven as "Mr. Smith" was in an earthly body will not even be a thought :]

NO, it doesn’t say that. You are in the presence of God and sharing the Divine Nature, you see as God sees, and He is all just and all fair. It would be utter stupidity to think you love them more than God does. IF that were true then the whole idea of people as created by God would be gone !!!
Do you think you won’t care about your miscarried baby ? You are more than a little heartless or something. Everyone is created ‘good, very good’ in Heaven you see that and you see it in God, who made them, who loves them more than you do, and who is all Goodness, Truth, and Beauty.
What you love in anyone (incl yourself !!!) is first of all and most of all a quality in God .

Actually,I as a muslim I believe in that. Christains do not believe in what u said. They believe that everyone goes to Heaven. Lets get to the point. Anybody in Heaven u know does identify u but do not remember any relatives or friends for hell. I hope allah the almighty does not get us near hell fire.

What kind of God would keep families separated from one another just because some people didn’t believe in Him or made the mistake of worshiping the wrong deity? Christians never seem to ask themselves that type of question. Not only will people in Heaven lose their identities to a certain extent, but they will also be deprived of the company of some of their family and friends. In that sense, Heaven will not be as perfect as it could be.

First off, it doesn’t say this in the Bible.
Second, if you don’t remember them, how can you remember you identity, therefore it won’t matter either way.

You don’t loose who you are because of who’s around you. You’re still you. In heaven all you know is what is good. There is NO pain, sorrow or sadness, so if someone you love doesn’t make it there, you won’t know it. You’ll still have the memories, and the love you feel for them, and you will still be you.
