    Mi$helle and Barry …
Mi$helle and Barry just bought the home of their dreams in Cuba. They plan to move in sometime in 2012, or when Barry is impeached…whichever comes first.

    jcrump6, I think …
jcrump6, I think you are making a judgment based on my statements that strongly oppose the Cuban government. Not everyone that is anti-Castro is pro-embargo. The embargo is the perfect excuse the Cuban government has to justify it’s economic disaster.

    jcrump6, I am not …
jcrump6, I am not in favor of the embargo. I completely agree with you that lifting the embargo is the best thing the US could do to bring about democracy in Cuba. I think you are assuming what I have not written because nowhere do I say I support the embargo. I was simply answering to claim regarding the “glory of socialism” that can be found in Cuba. A glory that I have yet to see and I’ve been to Cuba.

    Opening the embargo …
Opening the embargo will open up a new market for the U.S. economy and we will be able to subvert Cuban authority by offering more economic freedom to Cuban citizens. By gaining more freedom they will petition their government with more reform just like what is happening with China.

    safco82, no it does …
safco82, no it does not mean legal cuban cigars - the embargo is still in place.

  6. samot8728 Says:

    First off, …
First off, Americans are still not allowed to travel to Cuba unless they have some form of family ties to the island. Please inform yourself about the new policies. Second, what is the glory of socialism Americans could experience in Cuba? If socialism was that good why have so many people fled the island on anything they possible can to reach the USA (the beacon of capitalism) and I frankly don’t see many Americans hoping to immigrate to Cuba anytime soon.

    FINALLY ! now …
FINALLY ! now Americans will be able to experience the glory of socialism first hand.
